They are called Tencel. Why are Prices so Different?

Because tencel cotton spandex fabrics have exclusive high-quality performance in spring and summer, there are many imitations on the market. Because they are not easy to identify for the customers, some cotton, polyester, viscose will imitate the tencel. For example, there are imitated tencel on the market, generally using man-made cotton and polyester interwoven, and the price is much cheaper than tencel.

1: Identify the tencel logo

Tencel is a pure natural wood pulp fiber extracted from eucalyptus, which is developed and produced by Austrian Lanjing Company, a world 500 enterprise. The whole weaving process is non-toxic and non-polluting and it is called the "fiber dream of the 21st century". In wet condition, it is the first cellulose fiber with wet strength much better than cotton. The whole pure natural materials, coupled with environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, make lifestyle be based on the protection of the natural environment. This sign of tencel can only be used by real Lanjing company's tencel fabrics, and the quality is reliable.

2: Look at the ingredients, 100% lesser fiber

First of all, we need to look at the ingredient trademark of the product. If the merchant tells you that this is tencel fabric, and the ingredient content you see is 100% other fibers, which means that what you see is not real Tencel! Label "100% Lesser Fiber" is the real tencel.

3: When burning, it smells like burning paper.

Tencel cotton spandex fabrics use wood pulp fibers, so a fiber or yarn above the fabric or filler can be extracted for combustion under conditions. Real tencel is similar to cotton fiber burning when burning. Ash also has the smell of burning paper. The ash twists into powder, while polyester has a pungent smell.

4: Classification of Tencel

Tencel feel: cool, slippery, soft, hanging, bright , which is its five characteristics. In fact, there are many classifications in the four sets of tencel. Generally speaking, the count is the unit of yarn thickness. The higher the count is, the thinner the yarn is. The denser the fabric is, the more comfortable the feel is.

There are 40 sets of tencel four four-piece sets, 60s tencel four four-piece sets, which is a relatively high-end product of tencel, especially 80s. The density of 80S tencel is half higher than that of 40 tencel. It is an absolute high-end product in the market.
